‘A scenic, warm, and charming dining experience of authentic regional Indian cuisine in the lush orchards of Kullu Valley’

Tucked in the scenic orchards of Bandrol Estate in Kullu valley, this charming cafe offers a spectacular vista of the Pir Panjal mountains and the Beas River.

The indoors and outdoors become one and the scent of apple and peach trees fill the air. A calm persists, and colours from the world outside reflect in your plate. Our purpose and intention with this cafe was to uphold the comfort of rest for weary travellers and to exist as a slow space with relaxed catch-ups for Kullu locals.

The menu, with its Himachali specialties, paints a vista of Kullu Valley right from our tables while still offering a taste of home for guests from different Indian states. Sit back, breathe in the crisp air, and feel the gentle sunshine - all while you enjoy everything from cloud-like Molagapodi Rava Idlis of the South to aromatic Kathal Biryani and Kumaoni Raita of the North.

I have been to many places in Kullu and Manali but no place can match the hospitality of Roots. This cafe is a great place for breakfast and lunch with a beautiful view.
